A ”Watch Chain” of St. John Ambulance interest, formed of 25 date bars from 1930 to 1954 and at the centre, bars for ”20 years 1943, this has the name J. Metcalf” for “25 years 1948” and 30 years 1953. Each item has the number “275660” on the reverse, except for the dates 1948, 1949 and 1950 which are blank.

The King’s Medal 1906 in Gold awarded to Cadet James Waddell Trees by the Mercantile Marine Service Association, Liverpool.

Obverse: The bust of Edward VII.

Reverse: The legend in and around the wreath “The King’s Medal” and “Mercantile Marine Association Liverpool, School frigate H.M.S. “Conway” with1906 engraved in a tablet. The details of the recipient are engraved on the edge.

450mm in diameter, weight 55.8g in its monogrammed red leather case of issue with a matt surface.
